Cody's Coop

My husband and I operate on a tiny MicroFarm on Vashon Island, WA. We work full time and one of us is in school. After raising chickens in the past, I didn't think I wanted to deal with a rowdy Rooster and large hens. My neighbors had made it apparent we'd be kicked out of the neighbor club of cool kids if we got one. So instead I discovered Cotournix Qual. Beautiful many varieties and colors, easy starter bird for the urban farmer.

Cody is our pet Border collie, a real live farm dog. Cody's instincts to obsess over the birds is still ongoing to this day. He looks forward to nothing more than checking on his birds. So, in the end, we named the MicroFarm, "Cody's Coop".
